The smoke, the illuminating lights shooting out of the sky, and the lights that you see coming into the picture for the next firework all make this picture unique.  What's crazy is how the fireworks almost look like they were drawn on a black canvas, which makes this pic surreal.
Simply put, this picture also looks surreal.  At times I'd have to pause to enjoy the fireworks because of how at times, it was easy to get caught up in making sure each picture was perfect.  This one feels like I'm in outer space, with the small specks from the lines being stars in the distance.
As close as I was to the fireworks, at times I found it difficult to capture the lights in their entirety.  Luckily for this one, not only was I able to capture the smoke that let off from each firework, but I was able to show how the lights illuminated the whole area.  Sidenote, the person doing a small cameo in the bottom of the picture is my Dad, which I thought came out pretty cool.
As a graduate of THE Ohio State University, this one is another of my favorites because it almost looks as though the fireworks were scarlet and gray.  It's all about finding the little things to remind you of home.
This picture was able to capture what looks like a ball of green in the midst of the gold lights, almost like watching a nebula in the solar system.
This pic was one that I took during the show where numerous people around me thought that this was the end of the show.  As the sky continued to light up with what we thought was the closing finale, we were treated to even more fireworks, as you can continue to see below.
Another picture that I particularly love, due to seeing the smoke flying in the air.  Being as close to the launching of the fireworks is something that I truly enjoyed because it allowed me to capture the moments like mentioned before, and also gave me the chance to capture the bottom of the pic where you see where the fireworks shot up from then exploded into the beautiful scene that you see today.
From the smoke coming from the lights, to the vibrance of the actual fireworks, I truly enjoyed being able to capture these moments.  As high up as the fireworks were, at times it felt as though they were coming down right above the crowd of us since we were so close.  Nonetheless, we greatly enjoyed each moment and each thundering roar from each part of the show.
